Falcons RFC is a rugby club, not a law firm. This page explains, in plain language, what actually happens to information on this site. It is not legal advice, and if you need a policy tailored to a specific legal requirement, please have it reviewed by a professional.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers falcons-rfc (this website), operated by Falcons RFC, a rugby club based in Malta. It does not cover WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or any sponsor or partner website you may reach through a link on this site. Those are covered by their own privacy policies.
This website does not track you
This site does not use cookies, does not run analytics or advertising scripts, and does not create any account or login. It is a set of static pages with no server and no database behind it. Beyond your browser's own history, nothing about your visit is recorded anywhere by us.
The training enquiry form
The "Train with the flock" form on the homepage asks for your name, surname, email, phone number, age range, gender and rugby level. Here is exactly what happens to it:
- The form runs entirely in your own browser. There is nothing behind it to send your details to: this website has no server that could receive or store them.
- When you press Submit, your answers are written into a WhatsApp message and WhatsApp opens with that message ready to go, addressed to the club.
- Nothing is sent anywhere unless and until you personally press Send inside WhatsApp. If you close the tab or the WhatsApp window without sending, nothing has left your device.
Once you do send it, that message becomes an ordinary WhatsApp conversation between you and the club, and is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. Falcons RFC will use the information you send only to consider your training enquiry and get in touch with you about it, and will keep it only for as long as that reasonably takes.
If you are under 18
If you are not yet 18, please ask a parent or guardian to fill in the form or send the WhatsApp message on your behalf, so they are part of the conversation from the start.
Links to other sites
This site links out to our sponsors, our social media pages, and the agency that built the site. Once you follow one of those links, you are on someone else's site and this policy no longer applies. Check theirs.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data on any server, there is nothing here for us to give you a copy of, correct, or delete on request. If you have sent us information over WhatsApp and want it corrected or deleted from that conversation, message us and we will sort it out directly. If you ever feel your data has been mishandled, you can also contact Malta's data protection authority, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
If what this site does with information ever changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
